I left an agency about 1.5 years ago (content manager and prev social) to go in house (copywriter). Long story short, agency wants to offer me a senior director role. However, this isn't client facing and would be marketing for the agency itself.

I left to focus on writing. I love the company where I'm at now. The agency is small compared to my current company, but the title could be helpful later. Thoughts?

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I'm up for a pharma agency senior CW role in the Rx/HCP vertical. I have been freelancing for 11 years, so mostly contract rates between $50 and $80 p/h (lower end on W2, higher 1099). They want to know my 1099 rate and salary requirements if full-time employee. Would $75 hourly and $110K be within range? They are in Philadelphia. I have been working in the Chicago, San Fran, and NYC markets mostly.

Is location irrelevant? Been at an agency in St. Louis for around a year and it’s going well, but have an opportunity in Denver at a similarly sized shop. Is the better market worth it or will remote jobs continue to popularize?
