Judge Carter sent them all to the back of the room to hash out a deal: “There’s a wonderful corner. Stand six feet apart,” Carter told them, referencing the recommendations from public health officials for social distancing.

I’m glad someone is grilling them, there seems to be a lot of talk statewide about this and not a lot of action. Although I think the decision of the DA to release some people from jail early might add to the problem...unless they have homes to go back to then that means more people on the streets or in packed shelters. Are halfway houses open? And they won’t be able to get jobs in this market...

This is true, I see that risk. I am however glad that someone is thinking more critically about who needs to be kept in jail at a time like this.

Rant: I finally got a baby registry started and sent the link to family... and immediately was told all the things I need on there that I don't have (including things I'm opting to just NOT GET, like an electric pump - why is my nursing preference up for debate????). I hate it already. I'm tempted to take it down, buy it all myself and just tell people to start a college fund if it bothers them.

I'm 38, have had 4 miscarriages and the PRESSURE OF THIS PREGNANCY is unreal.

But I’m still not pregnant. I cant pinpoint ovulation as some months my period is 29-32 days and last month it was 45. Help

We’re considering adding wearables tracking to pull in health metrics for a wellness app. Let’s say we plan on doing iOS only and one approach is only doing apple health integration, while another is to use a 3rd party aggregator like Validic or Humanapi to integrate once and get access to Fitbit, Oura, WearOS, and tons of other wearables. Which route would you suggest?

There were some oddities on the ultrasound- wondering if any of you have experienced any/all of these and how it worked out (doc didn’t sound alarms, just said we’d keep an eye, but naturally I’m worried):
1. Grapefruit sized cyst on right ovary 2. Unknown object with no heartbeat (maybe a hematoma) in the gestational sac with my baby 3. An empty gestational sac

I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

The amount of people, even attorneys, who can't separate out the policy merits of abortion from the issue of whether it is a constitutional right is disappointing. I consider myself pro-choice ---I believe states should allow it, that the federal government can pass a statute to guarantee it, and that FDA statutes and regulations will preempt any state trying to ban chemical abortions through FDA approved drugs. Dobbs at its core is a case about the Due Process Clause, not the policy of abortion
