1) Exercise - It’s great for us physically, but once you become consistent, it really helps build a “can do” mindset. Totally recommend doing something light in the morning just to get your blood pumping. (e.g. 5-10 push ups)
2) Count your blessings. I have a jar full of paper slips. Each one has the name of a person I’m grateful for or something I’m thankful for (e.g. I never have to worry about where my next meal comes from).
On my tougher days, I pull a few slips at random to remind myself of all the existing good in my life.
My second suggestion is on the cornier side, but I’ve found this helpful.
