How are the exits from Big 4 to SAP consulting? Specifically for those that did SAP implementations at big 4. Looking in terms of pay, WLB, and travel specifically. Any other thoughts welcomed.

Ya I’m talking about working directly for SAP, sorry should have clarified

SAP is not active in the services space except for very niche areas where other SIs cannot fulfill the demand. SAP Convergent Charging is one such area. Super niche

Actually, Deloitte 1, that’s a common misconception. SAP has a delivery team that implements S4HANA both on-prem and the cloud editions. I know this because I work for SAP in the services space.

Are companies looking to hire more minorities and people who identify as LGBTQ+? I saw a post about a job listing for a Big 4 and it said it had a strong preference for people who identify as LGBTQ+ or a minority racial group. Does this mean they have a higher chance of getting the job? Not trying to start any political debates, I’m just generally curious.

Curious - in industry do a lot of companies have internal consulting groups that function like a big 4 would? Analyzing and implementing regulatory, strategic or other transformational initiatives?

So I left B4 risk assurance because I found the work a drag and moved to a boutique place where I was hoping to get a better experience or shape my career the way I want. However, this place isn’t what I was expecting and the project I’m on requires deadly hours and is staff aug. I’m looking to do this for a year and go back to b4 (as I like being in a bubble) but a different service line. How possible is this?

Curious to thoughts on “best time” to get pregnant/have kids. Am currently a first year consultant and would like to have one soon, but worried about my reputation and promotion timing.

I've been working late most nights this week. In the office all week despite the WFH policy. Partner has seen me all day. I'm heading out at 5pm to pick my kid up from daycare since my husband has been doing it for me all week. And the partner says we need to catch up before the weekend. Dude. I told you I had to leave at 5pm today. I had another $75 added to my daycare bill this month for being late at pick ups. Don't look annoyed that you didn't come talk to me. I can call you from the car.
