BT has highest opportunity followed by BC and then BO. Firm is pretty receptive to transfer requests. US is obviously dependent on H1b lottery as L1b is pretty rarely processed and for Senior Consultants and above. Like someone mentioned, Argentina, Japan are easiest. Germany and Singapore too invited applications in last 2 years. US, Canada, UK are not that easy. Most offices outside India/US/UK are very small(<50 headcount) so approvals are obviously OMP dependent. Movement due to non-business reasons are processed faster such as a spouse moving to other country. Most Indian principals use transfers as a 'lollypop' and retention mechanism. There is also unsaid rule of 6 month tenure loss if you move. Relocation support is excellent.

Yes. Next level gets delayed by 6 months. (Though I have seen 1 exception to this till date)

Argentina office is easy these days. USA - Client teams and your dependency matters. Then you get shortlisted for application. China/Japan - 2-3 weeks I have seen folks travelling who work on short term projects mainly even in their first year of ZS tenure. It is completely dependent on which project/space you get staffed into (not in your hand initially if joining at A/AC layer) , situations, requirement EU and others - I don’t have much idea I think there is also criterion (tenure wise) for US visa. 12 months or 18 months tenure minimum

Mariotte is officially buying Starwood. How will that affect SPG?

What's the minimum you have to spend on the corporate Amex to break even?

Any laid off Deloitte managers out there? I think I'm getting the axe tomorrow and would love to hear your story, severance package, if you negotiated.

Moving from a T2 to MBB. Want to take a 1 month break before the move to refresh, get healthy etc. Are there are any negatives to doing this?

Does having a little less YOE disqualify for you a role? I have all of the other requirements

Working the politics on a project where the client has some internal beefs going on between some stakeholders. I’m essentially being asked to take sides. Not sure how to engage or disengage?

Working with a VP who I’m fairly certain doesn’t like me- he tells me I’m a high performer but makes snide jabs constantly. Worth it to have an honest conversation or should I try to roll off?

My prior project made the reddit front page today... not for good reasons
