Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Seniors tend to spend more time handholding the staff and coaching them. Officially, performance management and reviews of said staff are M and SM responsibility.
I think of the difference in assignments I give my staff and seniors as this:
Staff get detailed, bullet point instructions on what I want on slide 4, 6 and 10.
Seniors get a detailed outline of what I want in the entire deck, maybe an example from another client, and told to have fun, call me if you have questions.
Happy to help. Caveat that your experiences may vary - lord knows I had my share of micromanaging managers when I was a senior, but I prefer not to pay that particular legacy forward. In general, an increased level of ownership is expected as you go up the ranks though.
Deloitte has BA for 2 years, consultant for 2 years, then SC after. EY has staff consultant for 2 years then SC. Slightly more responsibility placed on SC at Deloitte than EY given twice the amount of experience is required. Neither is better or worse- you’ll get good oops at both, I just wouldn’t let level be the deciding factor (unless pay is substantially different). I used to be at EY so I got to see both.
SC you may manage someone (the good ones will manage a few), but you won’t be leading teams unless they seriously trust you at EY. When I switched to deloitte I was shocked because I was the engagement manager at M level and supporting other engagements too- that’s usually SM at EY. Leveling is just a bit different.
