How is the hiring at MBB in Toronto at the moment?

Heyy guys! Anybody have any insight into the Technical Specialist - Modern Work position at Microsoft, such as interview questions/tips or just information about the role?

It is a pre-sales position with Microsoft 365 and Surface products.

Looking for advice. Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

I see recently due to market demand there are raining jobs even for less than 10 yoe getting above 25 lpa is it safe for the job security in terms of long term serving the company ,am afraid of getting laid off in future whats your thought or advuce on this?

Need your help 🐠 I feel like I‘m always sick (flue like symptoms ~2x per month). The doctors either just treat the symptoms or give me referral for a specialist for one or more symptoms, I feel like I‘m getting nowhere with that. Any advice on what tests I can ask for that helped you in the past? Any recommendations for a more complete checkup in Manhattan (ideally covered by most insurances)? TIA!

Pretty new here! Great news ..JOB offer …however the company is lowballing salary ..I informed recruiter Amount was not acceptable …sent off the salary requirement letter …. Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.

How many matters is typical for one associate to handle (BL lit)? I know it is group-specific, but just trying to get a general idea.
