Hi Everyone, I currently work as an underwriter and have been in the position for about two and a half years. I just recently graduated with a degree in marketing. Has anyone made a transition from underwriting to marketing in their organization? If so, any tips in making the transition.

I hate to quit my job as a software developer without another job lined up but I have my reasons behind it. Ive had panic attacks and bad anxiety within the last few months, hard time sleeping at night, I am not happy and I have frequent headaches. I've also been told some people aren't meant to be engineers, says my manager. I have less than 2 years of experience but I'm wondering what would you do in my situation? Would you leave tech or stay in a similar role? Or take a short break?

Thoughts on hiring a coach for prep? I've never done this before and I don't just want a random practice partner who may or may not know what they're doing.

My firm is considering opening my small office 5/18 to those who do not want to WFH (county has lifted Stay At Home orders). My partners sound like they’ll be going in but safely and flexibly (masks/gloves; half days; no Fridays). The firm/my partners have been very respectful of those who want to WFH. I’m a lateral hire (~1 year), only junior associate in the office. No medical issues or kids at home but like WFH. Hours were good last month, but slower this month so far. When do I go back?

Florida ppl: I live in a condo & the AC in my unit is leaking refrigerant. Repairmen came by as the AC kept freezing & they said it's leaking inside and the only way to fix it is to replace it. My landlord is refusing to replace the unit for at least 6 months. He's hoping that the Freon they put it will magically fix it. Lease says that he has to keep things in working order. My electric bill is mega high because of this. It's annoying to deal with. I have health concerns about that leak. Help?
