Love it. Love that everything can be done virtually. Definitely miss traveling, but grateful to be in a space that can be done virtually.

If anything we are busier. It’s nuts.

Pretty grateful - we’re less impacted than most other consulting areas (not to mention other industries and all)

I didn’t travel that much and usually did virtual sessions, if anything I am just as busy as ever.

How do you feel about the merger?

The whole business world requires Workday. You’re safe.

I'm starting to hear furloughs are on the table, even for Workday, does this change your response?

Just read the sad news of the death of 1st AD John Nolan. (See wheresspot for thread) While I hope be didn't contract Covid on either of the 2 sets mentioned prior to his illness and death, if it comes back that he did, we need to have a long hard chat about what went wrong. Condolences to his family. Truly horrible news.

Opinions needed: I’m involved in BPN (black professionals network) at work. We try to have events and touch points each quarter, but obviously because of COVID we haven’t been able to do so. I am trying to brainstorm ideas for connecting virtually (email newsletters, zoom calls, etc) and possible topics to be included and discussed so that it won’t end up in just a negative venting session. I would like to keep it positive and upbeat. Ideas/suggestions welcome!

I spoke to a Senior Manager earlier today and she told me they are looking to hire experienced and qualified candidates who have the below requirements: 1) Bachelor’s degree 2) CPA certification 3) 3-7 years of Accounting or Audit experience 100% remote. Then, post COVID traveling will vary. Please, if you meet the above requirements or know someone who does and is interested in joining Deloitte send me a private message. I will have you send your resume and I will forward to Senior Manager.

Had an American flight to Miami for Friday. Now: we now have a free flight and stay for Tuesday-Thursday. We want to get our money back for the Friday flight, but didn’t purchase insurance. Can we use the COVID situation to our advantage, i.e. are airlines still letting your do crazy reschedules/get refunds etc? Just curious if there’s any magic we can make happen here to get our money back or fly out at a much later date.

Looking to travel to Lisbon and Greece this July for my honeymoon(we’ve delayed it due to Covid). They’re currently the only two open European countries that makes sense for this sort of trip, but curious if this crowd has any recommendations. My flights are taken care of, but also curious if there are any Bonvoy or Chase point hacks/deals that make sense for these countries.

Covid depression, anxiety, feeling unmotivated and not creative at all. So, I decided to try microdosing 🍄. Desperate for anything at this point. I think they could be working as my mental state feels elevated the days after taking them. However, for several hours right after I take one - I’m horribly anxious and sad, tears are just falling. Anyone have any experience? This depression is really affecting my work performance and I was hoping this could save me. Thanks ❤️
