How are you individually managing vaccine requests or mandates at your company? No political stances or medical advice please.

I think there is a recognition that most, but not all clients expect vaccines. I think most, but, but not all, staff expect their peers to be vaxxed. That means that we will need to decide between catering to a small number of vaccine hesitant/anti-vaxxers or having to navigate not being able to tell clients “our staff is vaxxed” and telling our people they need to navigate their peers. It becomes an economic and people management decision

likehelpful

Now that we are 2 years out, how do you feel about peer pressure to get all vaxed?

Vaccination records are required to be uploaded. You’re required to be vaccinated to come into our offices or clients, but it is not a condition of employment.

like

The mandate was messy.

I took a picture of my vaccination card and loaded it into our application (temporarily allowed for me to not have to wear a mask)

like

Are you asking how we handle if clients expect it?

We require vaccination to come to the office. Non-vaccinated can come in for important meetings but must wear medical mask all the time if they do.

My partner of 5 years ended our relationship last night. I’m shattered and feel absolutely sick, and I know the healing isn’t going to be easy. We were on the verge of an engagement and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with him.

I don’t know how to approach work during this time. I think I can get by, but I’m definitely not 100%. Should I talk to my boss about it? My team is close-knit and comfortable around each other, but I don’t know if it’s “appropriate.” What would you do?

Neither my husband nor I are good with change and when my husband and I went for the ultrasound he nervously asked "she's too sick to eat anything other than her vitamins and water, is it ok for her and the baby to go without?" Our doctor just smiled and replied "don't worry, baby takes" I don't know why but that was so funny to us. It kind of became our mantra as we navigate and move our life around that "baby takes," its made it feel more Us vs Change rather than Me vs Him. Thought I'd share
