Can't believe you stayed over a year. Agencies are like bedsheets, you should switch them out every two weeks.
My track record is usually
Staying a year. One agency I made it to 2.5 years. I want to go client side at some point, so I think I need a little longevity. Now my sister was at the same agency for 8 years
It's normal. Not bad at all. If you stay more than 2 years with no promotion or increasing responsibilities, that's a huge sign to switch.
If you want to make the jump to corporate stay longer. I used my tenure as a selling point when I made the change. In general it’s common though.
This person is right. Though it’s more common the agency side, it’s often a deterrent on the client side.
