I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

I think you should email them saying you need to a short meeting with them, preferably straight away, asking for 10-15 minutes of their time. you’ll probably still have to send the email afterward but talking it through live is important imo
Uuuuuuuuugghhhhh fiiiiiiine I'll do it. Good points were made.
Do it for you… Even though you think it will be awkward - it actually feels pretty great to tell a boss you don’t like you’re leaving, in a really professional way. And take comfort in knowing you leaving is going to create a big pain in the ass for him/her bc they now have to quickly hire and train someone new in a very candidate centric job market.
Just ask for five minutes. rip the band aid off and let them know you'll follow up by email. and goodbye
This is how I've done it previously. Formal resignation via email is required in most cases but a little face time should factor in too. It's respectful to give your immediate manager the heads up even if they are the one you're resigning over. You never know when a bridge burnt may come back haunt you.
I knew someone who resigned via email and wasn’t allowed to work out their two-week notice. It’s a bridge-burner regardless of whether they treat you well or not. I’d just be the better person and get on the zoom here.

There's nothing stopping them from doing the same thing after the meeting though.
It’s easy to avoid unpleasant or awkward conversations in life. Being able to handle one is also a good skill to cultivate. Since you have nothing to lose, this could be an opportunity to see how you handle one and get better at it for when there’s one you can’t get out of.
Yes, just send an email but caveat that you’re happy to discuss the matter over a call.
I resigned recently and told the guy that I was leaving due to personal reasons. I regret it now. Wish I’d told him why. Sometimes it’s good to get that stuff off your chest.
