How beneficial is a case coach subscription? Willing to pay but really just desperate to make it through the interviews at MBBs - especially McKinsey

Hello All,
I had salary discussion with HR in Tcs , and i expected 18.5 fixed from them. I’m having 5.5 yrs of experience.
They said my expectations are way beyond their boundaries and it might reject the candidature when it go for approval.
Wanted to know if this happens that the candidature itself would be rejected in HR round in TCS or is it just a negotiation done by HR to minimise my expectations?

Currently an Audit A2 about to go into my second busy season and trying to make a move to FDD or Accounting Advisory. What is the day to day work like? Any advice on getting the job or if i should finish this busy season before applying?

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” Any thoughts/advice?
