Moving to Dallas in a few weeks. Any recommendations for energy companies? Never had the privilege of choosing my energy provider before.

I got an offer to work as a commercial real estate agent at Avison Young. My background is in residential sales. I’m wondering how complex working in commercial sales is.
1- Am I responsible for generating leads and networking just like residential?
2- Are there growth opportunities in this field; like is there a corporate ladder in this path to look forward to?
I. would like some advice to consider from those in the industry. Big thanks!!

Hi friends here… how long would you wait between FET cycles? I had a miscarriage (a few weeks only) in May from the FET, and my doctor said I could start a new FET cycle now that I have my period. I’ve been on Thyroid meds but they don’t monitor my TSH (unless I ask it to be checked). The doctor says no need to wait unless I want a mental break. I don’t need a mental break but wonder if I’m rushing when my body is not ready. Just confused… thanks all!

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Planning on having a conversation with my manager about my performance review and then I’m going to ask for a raise! Any tips on how to ask or structure the conversation? Also, what is a fair amount more to ask for? I’m thinking 15%.

I’m on a 6-month extendable contract and my manager really likes me; she always says that they want to convert me ASAP, however they don’t have the budget right now to hire me. They plan to hire me by the end of the year (7-month mark) but that means I won’t get paid for 3 days during thanksgiving and a whole week during December. How can I push for them to make me permanent as soon as possible? This is my first job out of college so I’m not sure how to approach this situation.

I have been in my current job for 1 year now as a booking coordinator for a logistics company. When I started I had no idea of what my workload would be, now I noticed that my coworkers took the opportunity to pass most of their job to me. I’m burned out, can barely take break and end my days totally drained and exhausted, also the same people is harassing me with questions like: “why are you working that slow?” Or the “quality of your job is questionable because…..” continue in comments

A great opportunity with a top brand has come up. I have not actively looked to make a move, but this role and brand looks really promising with a greater earning potential. Down side is I would need to relocate which I do not want to do and would be a challenge for my wife’s job . Any suggestions on how to leverage for a leveling of my current salary and role which I have been told is in the works but I have not seen any sort of movement to give me confidence that it will happen?

If you wanting a mix of salary increase and work / life benefit increase, what are some things you negotiate for that you now have in your job? Additional pto? Flex time? Other special arrangements? Has any one negotiated periods of time off ( around a month) based on certain objectives met? Was thinking perhaps negotiating unpaid leave for pursuing other interests / family time. Job is in medical IT, Midwest, 10 years. Thank you for looking and appreciate any comments.

I just received an offer on a job I would really like to accept. The salary offer is about 25% higher than my current salary, which I am happy about, but is also the low $ on the range I had expressed to the recruiter and the exact $ that I put on the online application (I had to put a $ figure). Am I being greedy trying to negotiate for a bit higher? Do they expect me to counter? I have been burned by NOT negotiating in the past but who can be mad at a 25% increase??

Hi everyone!
I work at a big med tech company as product manager. I have multiple markets under my responsibility. I am turning 30 in few weeks and I hold an MBA.
Currently I am earning 73k gross yearly in Belgium. I feel that I settled for less than what this role could have given. What should I do? Is this a good average salary for product managers? I need to negotiate a raise but manager is greedy and difficult
Any advice is appreciated 👏
Thanks!!!

I had my first interview today for a director position I would consider a dream role, and it went well. They want me to talk to the VP, but I found out I would definitely have to relocate to a different state to execute tasks.

The salary is within range of what I would accept, but I just moved to a different state.

I want to leverage this, and follow up with the hiring with another place (similar position in my current city and state) I haven’t heard from yet. Do you think that’s wise to do?

Happy Wednesday!!!!

I’m currently a Recruitment Consultant at an RPO with 4.5 YOE in Toronto. I received a salary raise last year. Recently I had another conversation with my manager for a comp raise. They was able to speak with their higher ups. Unfortunately, I got to know that they wouldn’t be able to increase my pay because of the economy. I’ve been working on heavy req loads and multi projects. But they are signing me up for a leadership program with a potential raise next year. Thoughts?

I just recently promoted to HR assistant manager. I have my PHR and working towards my SPHR. I am the lowest paid employee in the depth. We have a senior specialist and a general specialist both make more than I do. They have been employed longer with the company. What is your advice on this issue?
