How can an intern keep in touch with former colleagues after the summer ends? I’ve read that an occasional email or a coffee chat after a few months is good, but how much is too much?😂

They either think I am not knowledgeable enough for a particular task or just that I am good at doing some non-technical/manual task. Just read an article about how the first doses of the vaccine will be doled out. Am I the only one who is really heartened by the global response to COVID-19? So, what are employers doing for parents? It’s clear school isn’t going to be back to normal so something has to give. We made it through the spring because we thought that would be enough. Working at night because we’re homeschooling during the day isn’t flexibility- it’s unsustainable. Work needs to get done to keep the economy going, but this is a global pandemic.
