Shell india markets pvt ltd Seeing the attrition rate increase quite a bit in shell Bangalore, especially in the irm space. The packages people are getting in different firms seems to be really good as well. Almost 40-50% hike. Is Shell not paying we'll enough/matching up to the market standards? Depends on how bad the hiring manager wants a candidate. There are many examples of jg3 at 10yr exp and also being at 18yr exp..

I am assuming you meant the expected CTC post conversion in Shell. Given your role, it would ideally be JG4, for which you are already more than 100% PIR, as of now. So chances of getting further more is quite low. Speak with the hiring manager and also the HR. They might try to add MCA to raise the CTC without impacting the PIR.

Yup ,you are right . During my negotiation when i told them that i am expecting more .the H.R then took a day and added the MCA component instead of increasingy the base pay .
When i asked what would happen if this MCA for remove . He told me that it will br merge in CTC.
So i think they are giving this to someone is doing hard negotiation 😃

Is ur shell manager aware of ur CCTC ? Better hint him and go for a J3 position.

With 11 YOE, expecting JG3 is a bit far fetched, though not impossible 😅. But in my experience, I have seen the hiring managers taking a step back and go for alternate resources than going ahead with the conversion in higher JG.

Hello. I am currently in the initial discussion regarding conversion. Can you please share how many rounds of interviews will happen for JG4 and for contractor to perm, can the salary range be discussed before the interview (as usually if it's a good hike on CCTC a person would prefer to switch to perm role) ? Thanks.
