If you have to ask this, you probably aren't. 😕

You didn't just stumble into your CPA? My state pretty much just sent me a license, EZ PZ

like

Seriously, how do you not know? Took me like 3 years of careful planning to get eligible. It's not something you just happen to achieve.

The easiest thing would be to setup an account with Nasba and try to register for an exam. During the application process they will ask you all the required details, which will determine eligibility to sit.

Should have gave some more info. I'm looking to transfer from another country to the US and my firm is asking am I eligible.

Your state's board of accountancy website should have very clear guidelines of the education requirements.

^same here. That's not how it works for everyone?

Check nasba.org or ur state board website.

Check on your state's nasba page or ur school accounting page. The accounting dept might have have a list posted, mine did at least

Do you know what office in the firm you will be transferring to? Each state has slightly different requirements, so you need to know what state you would be applying to take the exam in. Generally, states require a certain amount of semester hours in business classes and upper division accounting classes, so you have to compare your transcript and transferable credits against the state's requirements.

Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

I’m scared to even mention the opportunity.
