How can I find opportunities that suits me?
A little bit of background I started in innovation management and consulting at a tech startup and worked there for 2 yrs before the company got bought out. I got into sales cause I had to but I tried to get into Tech in the company. I started volunteering my personal time on progressing the company through introducing new technologies working with the global, regional and local IT offices, creating coms etc & increased digitalization scores by 4% yoy

I have been in insurance sales for 7 years. Not something was ever thinking I would do. I have a bachelors and masters in general psychology. My masters was more research based in hopes I would go back for my PhD one day. I decided to just go back for my MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics. How can I break out of the insurance sales role and into something else with insurance if all my experience has been sales. Should I just wait until I am done with my degree and then search after?

So I'm good or capable of many things but I haven't found the one thing that I like or want to work towards. All signs point to data analyst, but I'm not so sure. If Garcia's job, from Criminal Minds, was a legit job, that's the job I would want. I knew going in that I wanted to do something in cyber security, but now I'm not so sure. I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

Does anyone else feel like they are just falling behind with the price increases for our big ticket items such as cars and homes? Like I started working in 2017 and I realized I couldn’t make it the way I wanted on $105k so now I’m at around $250k and I got some rentals but all of the homes in my area have doubled in price since 2020 so from $500k to $1m or above so I feel like I’m still just as financially tight now and cars seem just as unobtainable as when I first started.

I've always had a certain level of dread about asking the interviewer questions at the end of the interview. I always feel like mine are really basic or sound like I got them off of Google. Need some advise! When I get asked what salary range a role is, I honestly don’t know how to answer. How we hire is based upon the interview process and tech screen. I’ve been telling candidates “the starting base for this role is x but is dependent on the interview” obviously they think what I’ve provided is what they’ll get. But that’s not the case - it’s more of you’ll get offered nothing less than x. I need help englishing to make it clear to candidates 🥲 TIA!
