Can’t cry over spilled milk. Do the best you can with cards you’ve been dealt. I would work with a recruiter - often getting your resume in front of people (which the recruiter can do) is the most important first step.
I have never had any luck with a recruiter and find those interviews waste of time. TBH I regret going into the legal field. The jobs suck. The is no appreciation. There is no advancement. They rate your billing at $150 but dont even pay you a fraction. They expect perfection. No employer will actually invest in your growth and development. Its honestly just a shitty job.
It’s always hard getting an entry level job but you will find one.
It’s easier because the pay is low and that’s what these companies want. They will be fine
It was not a waste to go to the ABA approved paralegal school. The two ABA paralegals I know are both amazing. The legal job market is a bit slow right now, and as others have said, that first job is always hard to get. Keep talking to people (literally everyone you know) about what you’re looking for. I once got an interview because my chiropractor had a buddy at a firm.
I temped at first and then after 6 months got a full time job
O I've tried until I've had a few temp agencies blcklist me for telling them to send my info because it never hurts to try
Check tech companies and also online remote.
OP I got my very first paralegal job by just applying until I found something honestly. There are usually so many law firms (atleast in my area) that are hiring for entry level paralegal jobs. I would just start applying and wait for calls!
Why not get the ABA approved paralegal school’s career guidance office to help you out???
