Current non-SWE Googler in interviews for Partner role in MBB. I have previously worked at MBB at the Analyst level and disliked the “grind” / lack of autonomy in that role. Is it better at the Partner level? How much agency would I have over my schedule and what I decide to work on? What are the biggest challenges as a boomerang Partner?

Do companies still hire entry level at this time of the year? I have a friend who just graduated GMU and is struggling to find a job. Her major is MIS and she knows data viz (Tableau), data analysis (R & Python).
I am curious to know- statistically, not “from my POV at my company” anecdotal commentary- if govt/contractors have a hard time recruiting millennials for SCIF jobs, especially ones not near metro.
Can anyone share Junior Analyst positions. Trying to help my son find opportunities. He learnt Python and Hadoop. Willing to learn new technology too. Thanks a lot.
asking for career advancement after a job offer, Does that sound greedy? I am considering an offer which is really good but advancement opportunities are important to me and I wanna know if the company is good at promoting people. What would be a good approach to the hiring manager for this matter?

Is it better to specialize in a certain part of the military to learn all the nuances of it?
For those who work in the cleared space, have any of you been able to return on-site for work and what has the experience been like? Is it rotations for parts of your teams to come in during the week? Any other ways you're keeping billable if not on-site?
I recently finished undergrad and I’m waiting on secret clearance that I applied for in February 2018. I know my application will take long bc of foreign relatives, but how long is too long to wait?
BAH 🐠: Can you please tell me anything about this role. Me: TS with SCI eligibility, BP and IT controls, Governance. Cert: CICA, CGFM, working on Security + 5YOE. Would like Associate level at BAH.
If I’m eligible for OT at AFS, how often can I expect to make that? I.e. when I work more than 40 hours, will my leadership actually let me/expect me to bill those extra hours?
Crisis in faith: doing gov't consulting because I have no interest in spending the same or more hours helping a company improve its bottom line. I also have no interest in being paid less to be a fed for 10 years.
Seeing the lack of movement on student loan forgiveness & the sheer $$$ commercial apparently makes, idk if it's a smart move to stay mission driven or just bail for the highest dollar. Anyone else dealt with this?
Deciding between 2 job offers in DC & would love some advice! Background- Masters in my field, 2.5 years of full-time experience. Job A is a large company, well-known, great benefits, consulting (no past consulting experience). Job B is small nonprofit, interned there before, would have more autonomy in role but basically no benefits package (liberal leave, no 401k match, no signing bonus). Trying to decide which is best as a career move, salary is comparable for both, TIA!!!

Join the military
Or join military reserve as an intel officer ... a weekend a month and gets you in the door
For lower enlisted, Combat Arms radio operators get them. All Cavalry Scouts in my unit had Secret + Infantry commo soldiers did as well.

PwC1 yikes, yeah no. It’s quicker to get a TS/SCI w/ poly than becoming a full fledged fso
