Classroom Funding Strategies

How can I get funds for a lot of books? This year I’m being moved to a new program in a new building and it’s going to be project based learning, but the books in the building will all be mine.

Half price books donates to schools/ classrooms. Pick up a firm from the store. You don't get to choose the books but can get a few boxes donated.

We are attached to the high school with a little Brady but that may end up being quite the hassle because it would take a lot of time to get there

Contact your local businesses for funds or grants. Perhaps a LIONs club or local community service club

Penny Kittle offers a grant-like opportunity called Book Love Foundation to fund classroom libraries. You’d have to check the deadlines for applying though. Just Google Penny Kittle Book Love Foundation 😊
