How can I make a lot with a mathematics major?

Be a quant in finance. Take Econometrics if you can

One of my dear friends is a mathematician who codes in a variety of languages.

Using his math knowledge, he was able to write more efficient code, and solve programming problems that others had trouble solving.

It is a path he took, and it may not be one for everyone.

My coworker is a math major and works as a data scientist. Can make decent money but need to have programming/engineering skills at least somewhat. He gained these skills through side projects.

You can go into programming or engineering. A lot of related roles are in demand right now with a competitive salary. Of course, the company would be another factor for that.

Actuarians make a lot of money from what I hear.

I work at Big4 TAS Germany, with a great team and a nice role that I enjoy. Nevertheless, I very often feel underpaid and at the moment the market seems quite hot and it would be possible to change to IB. Anyone has views on Big4 TAS vs Small local IB Boutiques (IEG, Case, Contor). Money is definitely better but I am afraid that the lack of name recognition may hinder my exit opps long term.

I've an offer letter of 20.5 LPA from TCS, is it worth to go for TCS or should wait for other interviews?

Your suggestion will be much appreciated.

I’m currently in school and on path for a Bachelors in Accounting. I would love a data entry job just to have some kind of experience once I graduate! I also would love to work from home. That being said, remote data entry jobs are hard to come by. The ones I’ve applied to on Indeed haven’t turned out and then I tried to go on CareerBuilder and ended up with what I’m assuming is a scam but I’m trying to look into it. Where do I go from here?

Based on my current offers, which out of the 2 - Seagate or Intuit will be better from exit opportunities point of view. Note: Seagate offer is higher than Intuit by 20K in total compensation
