How can I make my LinkedIn optimizable to 2 different roles. For example, I am interested in recruiting and project management roles. 2 of my previous jobs I worked as a clinical project manager but the projects I worked on I had to recruit (full cycle recruit) people to participate in the projects we were conducting. Is it okay to put Clinical Project Manger/Recruiter in my LinkedIn job titles for my previous companies?

That's what I did, but I also worked with someone who specialized in optimizing LinkedIn profiles - definitely better than when it was just my own efforts!

From the previous conversation I just had with them they said you would have to purchase another license but if anyone else for somethings please comment.

I would just focus on one role. Those two are so different that it'll be hard to have a targeted resume and keywords to attract AI related searches from the recruiter side.

Safer to include only the primary role then add sub-notes on what the role encompassed. It might get difficult if employer calls for background check on the company once they ask about whether you were employed at your stated role.

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director l, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

Today I was told I can come back full time at the same salary as before maternity leave or I can go part time, but my pay rate would be 37% LESS ($19/ hr). Just needed to vent to women in the industry. Not sure what to do from here….

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting since joining this platform. I’m interested in connecting with someone who is open to HR mentoring. I’ve been in HR now for about six years and have never had a mentor. I’ve been relying mostly on SHRM and other people in the company for feedback. First time poster here!

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?
