I’m in big law, industry group and do a fair amount of commercial contract work for startups. I typically have to engage a privacy expert to review portions of the contract. See if you can be the point of contact for a Corp generalist group that works on this for smaller clients.

Thoughts on Dentsu Aegis? I've received an offer for a role (promotion) and thinking about whether it is a sound move - especially in this environment. They went through furloughs and pay cuts in April due to COVID. I'd be making the move from EY which is a great company to work with - but there is such a long line up to get a promotion, and for roles I've interviewed for internally I get the good ole - you were awesome and it was rly close, but someone was just a better fit.

Any advantages to an attorney in the US obtaining a license to practice law in the UK? I would be paying for this on my own as I do not yet have a position that requires it.

The recruiter for a position I applied to reached out via email with a list of questions. One question is marked as REQUIRED in big bold text. They want to know my base salary expectation. I have 3.5 YOE and currently make $120k base. Next week, I’ll get between a ~5-20% raise depending on if I get promoted or not. What should I respond to the recruiter with?

Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!

I was interviewing for an industry role I really liked (not my dream job but checked most boxes), let’s call this job1. The same day as my 2nd round interview for job1 a recruiter from another company I had applied to that would be an otherwise solid exit (more money, better brand) reached out to set up an interview, I’ll call this job2. I told job1 at the time that I did not have a timeline and was not interviewing elsewhere. Job1 let me know about a week ago that I would be moving along (cont)
