I found out Finland does not pay teachers the same pay as doctors. But I did find out that that their students do get 75 minutes of recess, students in primary grades go to school for 4 hours, students start school at 7 years old. However students can start preschool at no charge or reduced price depending on the parent’s income. There is no mandatory testing. The assessment of the students is left up to the teachers. Keep in mind their government & culture are different though.

Should I ask for promotion after working in Tax for 5 months? I had a 5k sign on bonus, with a ok start up salary. We had some changes in management recently, and I had to step up to train new employees and showing new hires how to utilize our system and softwares. Even had to show our new manager how to do things cuz she came from non PA company.
