I currently work in Atlanta for a healthcare management company that is local to the area. I just got into the healthcare industry and have my bachelors degree in health science. I work in a position in the revenue cycle and I am looking to possibly get a new job in a more established company. I want more stability and opportunity within a company. I also got a new job offer this week. My question: Can my potential new employer file for h1b petition that was picked in lottery which was submitted by my current employer? If yes, is it a feasible option? What are my safe options in this case if I want to take the new job?

Good afternoon! I hope everyone felt appreciated this week and always! I am sharing this because I’m not sure what to think. The administration did some small things for us (soup and schmooze which i wish were soup and snooze LOL) but in a week which was very stressful for us with Ap exams coming up etc, we were asked to show our appreciation to each other via emails, or some special way. Nice thought, but we kinda do this every day…. Aren’t the students supposed to say thank you? 🤷‍♀️

Hey everyone, I have a bit of a dilemma. The school that I’m at right now I love. I love the people, I love the kids (even if they get on my last nerve). It’s the management that’s ruined it. Our management team had a swift change in direction and now it’s just bad. They don’t know how the school works and everything feels seriously different. The last two weeks have been the hardest in all of my profession and I want to find somewhere else. Should I try and stick it out, or find something new?

Do you think you spend more time planning, grading, or actually teaching? I spend the most time planning and then most of the time I have to throw those plans out the window!
