How can I take the most advantage from the outplacement services vendor? FYI - this was offered as part of the lay-off package.

They helped me completely redo my cv and really taught me how to update it. How to make the most out of Linkedin, they helped me practice for interviews, really helped me create my “presentation speech”, how to answer interview questions, etc. if you have that benefit you can really take advantage of that. I had a friend who after being laid off wanted to start their own business and they helped him as well. It depends of the service, but they can really help you guide your job search.

Have they told you what services they offer?

They sent an email asking if I had any questions but I can check on website that they help with resume and job search.
