We’ve had a lot of people leaving for Small PE consulting firms. Is anyone else noticing this?

I'm scared of leaving consulting because I have commitment issues, I like not staying on the same team for more than six months , I like being able to quit projects with shitty bosses. In the industry, you spend an entire year with one team and that seems scary. Also there is no system of bench if you get fired.
