I used to be passionate about my firm’s people. Loved coaching junior folks and paying it forward with all the great mentoring I received early in my career. But my firm’s values and senior leadership priorities have incentivized a purely numbers vs people culture. It’s made the job so much less fun and personally fulfilling. Hello! Is there anyone who can give me the steps to show cents in excel? For example I need 2911402 to show as $29114.02

Any ideas on how to sumif based on criteria listed under a given header wherein the header is the main reference but there are varying criteria beneath said header? Specifically, I would like to drag a formula down a column that references a corresponding department in the row (the header on a sep sheet) and then sums the listed accounts beneath each dept (with each dept having a diff # of accounts) from a given data set. Could do a pivot, but the filtering process is inefficient.

I have a crappy spreadsheet that I’m trying to make more appealing or easier to digest. What would be the best way to do so? I have locations, first name, last name, start date, end date, dob, and comments as the rows and columns have the details. I’m trying to get the dates to show up in the pivot chart instead of a value of that makes since. What would be the way to go about this.

What’s your favorite way to do a notes tab? I was using [00] to number them and then using hyperlinks but they break if I want to move the note around. I’d like a way to navigate to and from.
