How can someone transition from a pharmacy tech to another career in healthcare technology ? I feel like I’m unmarketable because the first thing employers see is “pharmacy tech”. Meanwhile I’m in school for masters of public health.

In this new year, I would like to get better at investing.

The hiring manager didn't want to move forward with a candidate because of his gut feeling. The candidate had the experience and skills necessary but couldn't put his finger on why he didn't want move forward.

Most effective form of communication? I always prefer written (email etc) as one can look and understand infinite number of times and ask questions or ping for short queries. Still we tend to stick with scheduling meetings/calls and waste everyone’s time thinking about the issue on the calls itself. Registered dental assistant in Texas, I am looking for more information on pay and benefits through an orthodontics office. Currently I am making a very low hourly wage (just over minimum wage) with a monthly bonus that fluctuates a lot. In the past year the bonus has ranged from $900-$2400 after taxes. We get no health benefits however we do receive orthodontic treatment at no cost. Is this common for Texas orthodontic offices?
