Chill but often drag on forever

In that case yeah I'd take it, it might even be fun. But I wouldn't take several of those a year

Hate them, I've never had a nonprofit that wasn't full of errors and incompetent bookkeepers, consider myself lucky to be out of that group. Hopefully yours are better than mine.

With tiny budgets on top of that. No thank you.

like

Externally - I’ve found the clients to be chill but non responsive. Internally - the partner will blow up on you over the budget despite having a low fee in the first place

like

This ^^ not chill at all from the staff's perspective. Very small (read: unrealistic) budgets which forces eating time to avoid explaining the 1/2 hour overage. No thank you.

like

Very chill but lots of things like looking at 90 invoices TOD because no controls reliance

Exactly what PWC 1 said, chill but can drag

Hello, I need advice on salary negotiations at my current employer. Got offered a HR management role @ $62k a year. The average salary in SLC is $73k. Someone less than 1 year of experience earns $69k. I’m also PHR certified and have 5+ years of progressive experience in all functions of HR. Anyone in the outdoor or sporting goods industry with a company size of 250-300 employees? TIA

Hello everyone, let me give you some context before my question. I want to work into Robotics and Automation, in Logistics, Vehicles, Defense. Currently studying Math, IT and some Physics. What would be the best breakthrough in that field for a 27 years old (should be my age when I graduate) ? I previously graduated a degree in Chinese studies, hence my age and late entrance in the work force.
I'm awaiting your responses 😁

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Our firm is rolling out voluntary hour adjustment/reduced salary and although they are saying this program is not mandatory, I feel pressured because we had few nationwide webcasts on this and partners calling personally to discuss. However, the salary here is peanut compared to what they pay in US and cost of living is high - I barely manage with the current pay. Starting to get anxious 😟
