SIP more strategy and planning work, same as standard strategy consulting roles in other companies.
We have less pure strategy work like LEK, probably on par with Kearney and more than Big 4. No clue about OW. Having said that there is nothing wrong with non-strategy work, it's where you get to really understand the nuances of business at times.
I would say our training is lacking a bit behind other firms, but otherwise people are nice, leadership is generally good and WLB is a bit better in non-Covid times than most other firms mentioned above (not considering Big4). We also got a few extra days off for free and 2 extra bonuses due to significant growth in business during COVID.
Both roles are directly client facing. As the person above highlighted, the non-strategy portion of the work is often where we learn the details of the business that help us deliver strategy work that better reflects client situations, needs, and capabilities.
