Is it a red flag for a firm to chase after you for months? Like are they desperate or do they actually want me? Big imposter syndrome over here.

Can I export a list with all emails I sent for the month? I would like to use it to compare to my billed time to make sure I don’t miss anything. Usually I go through my sent inbox but it has so much extra info so it’s not a quick scan. Plus outlook does weird things sometimes like combines conversations so I only see most recent sent item in that convo. Alternatively, do you have a good way confirming you caught all of your email time?

Do you go see your parents when they are getting surgery?
I've never been afraid of surgery before and my dad's had a bunch (from military). He lives a few states away but I usually get to see him quite often. He's only in his 40s and my mom is with him. The surgery he's about to have is considered high risk. I'm not worried or anything, but it's it customary to go see them when they're having a major surgery? He'll be in-patient for at least a week. Sounds I go after and help my mom? WWYD?

I’ve been working for big 4 firm for 3yrs now w barely any raise in sight. My performance increased tremendously but for whatever reason I got the same increase this yr as my first yr w the firm (and my increase was only cost of living abt 3%) Looking elsewhere but I feel undervalued already and have an overall dismal view of everything. I'm pro-choice and have been for a long time, but I understand pro-lifers. If you really considered a fetus to be a baby, then you'd see abortion as the same thing as killing a newborn which would obviously be horrible. The main debate is whether or not a fetus is human enough to have rights, which is debateable even by scientists, which is why abortion deadlines are so arbitrary (6 weeks, 15 weeks, etc).

I was assaulted by a worker in my home and since then I recoil from anyone of similar ethnicity. I wish it wasn’t that way. Any assault survivors on here who have experienced similar and moved past it?

Back in 2017 I quit an absolutely awful company that treated me (and all other lower level employees) like trash. We were constantly being reprimanded about not doing our job well enough, but then would also get yelled at for overtime when we tried to do our job well.
