Not very, in my experience
Layoffs are not uncommon in the legal industry, especially given the current economic climate. In fact, a recent study found that nearly one-third of all lawyers in the United States are currently unemployed. This is likely due, in part, to the fact that many law firms have been downsizing in recent years in an effort to reduce costs.
Not so common. Based on my experience, it rarely happens so no worries, buddy.
Not common but firms are currently slow and there are rumblings.
