How common is it for an employer to pro-rate a salary increase if you joined in middle of the year? For context, annual raises are given out in July each year. I joined in January. Normally, I would be getting an 8% raise, but because I came in at about the half year mark, they giving me ~4%. My jaw about just dropped when big boss said this. I mean, inflation doesn't pro-rate. Thoughts on this?
Would anyone like to share the salary range of a Workforce Development Coordinator in Indiana?
I’m a little nervous about the academic and professional awards sections. For academic, I graduated cum laude and am a member of a national honors society - anything else to think about? And for professional qualifications - would a promotion count or is it more for certifications?
Anyone from sales ops, know any automation tricks or process improvements? For the compensation part or improvement of sales team performance?

Hey guys I'm currently making a $40k salary but looking for more . I kind of suck at interviews and I'm glad this job gave me a chance 4 months. Ago any tips on interviews even the ones over the phone. Especially why are you looking to leave your employer.
I got offer in Infosys for 6.7 Lpa (55% on my Current CTC).
Recently, I got promotion and hike as well. So now the offer @Infosys is merely 34% of my revised salary.
Is it good Idea to renegotiate the salary? How to approach?
Note: I do not hold any other offer.

Creatives: many jobs I see for CDs ask for one to create strategies, identify channels, and a lot of other (important) tasks of the process that are anything but coming up with the creative idea, or crafting the words or art that express that idea. I often see them for in-house roles. I’ve mostly worked at places where specialists perform each of those functions. Just a different breed of CD? Surely we can’t all be expected to roll that way?
Any tips on how to actually implement the habit of exercising in your life even though you actually hate it? This will be my focus area for March.
Just accepted an offer as a project delivery specialist. To be completely honest, mainly just took the role for the almost 33% pay increase and how much I enjoyed the team during the interview process. Curious about others’ experience (the good, the bad, the ugly 😅)? The project I’m on is slated to last 3-4 years and I’m not necessarily trying to “find a home” at Deloitte or the big four, in general.

I have a daughter graduating in S/W Engineering with 3 summer internships at Citi and from a very reputable college. Full time offer from Citi is pending.
