How common is it for employers to pay for the cost of applying for a family based GC (an an AOS)? I understand it happens fairly frequently but would love to hear experiences!

Have a big interview tomorrow. The question I dread the most is about why you’re looking for a new job. The honest answer is that there isn’t enough work to go around at my agency and I want to get ahead of the inevitable layoffs. What’s the best way to tell them this? Do I just make something else up entirely?

I have 4.3 YOE currently and I was offered Engr II - Full Stack position in VDSI. But after doing some research it seems Engr II is usually for YOE between 2 and 4. Is this correct? Will there be a problem for me if I take up this position with my YOE?

My EAD card got lost recently unfortunately, will I still be able to join the company? I got my H1B with employer A, then I filled DS 160 and also paid the fees to book visa appointment. I could did not book a visa date due to covid.
Now I got a new job and my H1B got transferred to employer B. Do I have to fill the DS160 again and pay the fees again OR I can book another appointment without paying the fees again?
