Uncommon to the point that I would pass on working there
I have no follicles left…shit
As a drug test?
I would mail them some of my pubes if they have such requirements

This is most effective for in person testing.
“Hold on one second while I grab around down here.”
Out of curiosity, which company in 2022 is requiring this test? And what do you know about the culture there? For what it’s worth, I worked for Kraft-Heinz out of school and they required hair testing. Their leadership team - like every brand in their shitty portfolio (i.e. Jell-O, Kool-Aid, Shake n’ Bake, & so many more) was pretty lackluster, and there was a general distrust across the organization, so hair follicle testing was par for the course. Ironically in all their efforts to weed-out (no pun intended) any “bad” hires, they took their eye off more critical considerations like business acumen, and integrity… their little $15B write down in 2019 is testament to this for sure. Truly awesome screw up, but hey, at least their new hires had not smoked pot in the past year or two, right? A hair test test should have been a red flag, honestly, but I was too inexperienced at the time to recognize.
Pretty common based on the industry. Knew a lot of people coming out of college that needed to take one before starting in O&G.
This doesn’t even happen for government/defense industry.

Honestly, as a complete and total square who had never done a single drug in my entire life I think I would refuse on the grounds of how invasive this feels. I already get petulant about urine tests.
Just pay me and leave me alone 🤬
