Always easier from within but definitely not impossible at all. I got in from FMCG industry
It is doable, but commonly it would definitely be better to crack if from the inside because you would already know the ins and outs of the industry. hope this helps! good luck
Everything is doable but the chances a recruiter will chose someone from industry related experience is higher
Go out of your way and connect with the recruiter and try get in a 5-10 minute call to highlight your experience and how it is transferable or your willingness to learn
Most importantly why you are interested in joining that industry or what sparked the interest
The motivation and interest you show in the firm itself can be a winning card that people don’t give enough importance to
