Who works at DoorDash corporate and can give me advice on interviewing? I have my first round of interviews for a S&O role next week. I know there’s mixed feelings about working there but I need this job and it pays well. I’m working a temp job now and I need something permanent. I do have tech startup experience. Advice and insight would be appreciated!

They already hired enough people end of last year so still busy training new people. The learning curve is pretty steep compared to Audit.
Those recruitment posts actually are evergreen posts. Recruiter I spoke with said they have those up all the time but aren’t taking new FDD associates

I think FDD groups have shifted to looking mainly for those with experience over fresh people from audit. Even if it’s 6 months of fdd experience.
This is true!
I think these positions remain open for FDD to FDD transfers which would be a miracle. Unfortunately, If people are coming from audit, there is a hiring cap and more competitive because of how many individuals you want to train and get up to speed. So it becomes a numbers game. Still, I think it shouldn’t be an issue. What’s your background?
Moving into any consulting LoS from audit, even from PwC audit to PwC consulting, won’t happen without networking. I know a few PwC accountants that ended up in advisory but it took a LOT of effort and networking

Talked to a recruiter from our group and was told we are hiring people with FDD experience now
