I have 10 years of experience in IT industry, working with Cognizant since beginning. Now, I feel I am stuck with repetitive clients and projects and would like to explore other company's culture and it's way of working. I would like to progress my career in technical side. What should be my approach towards job switch? What companies should I target?
Appreciate your guidance and support.

My partner of 5 years ended our relationship last night. I’m shattered and feel absolutely sick, and I know the healing isn’t going to be easy. We were on the verge of an engagement and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with him.
I don’t know how to approach work during this time. I think I can get by, but I’m definitely not 100%. Should I talk to my boss about it? My team is close-knit and comfortable around each other, but I don’t know if it’s “appropriate.” What would you do?
Looking to work at a title company? Do they pay well and how prestigious is it? Are there any that are “better” than others?
Looking for some advice fellow Muslims: I have been continuously struggling to wake up for fajr, let alone pray it in the mosque. Every night I commit myself to waking up and set an alarm, but instead of getting up when my eyes open from the alarm, I go back to sleep. This has to be the devil at work, but how can I fix this?
I recently joined KPMG Global Services, Bangalore. In the Offer letter It was mentioned that I will be part of the TE-DL-DataPlatforms team. Any idea on how the team is and how the WLB and projects will be?

Briefly connected to a recruiter for the life sciences commercial strategy senior consultant positions at Deloitte. I would like to talk to someone in that practice, if possible. Is that part of Monitor Deloitte?

I work for an agency, but in a very specific vertical. Thinking about having a side hustle to work jobs outside of my vertical while remaining at an agency. Anyone have success keeping these two things separate?
Experienced hires can sometimes be like the salt water taffy of resources. They’re there, but no one wants them 🤦♀️
Need to know if it's good to take back resignation or go on LOA as management is trying to retain you and assure to give promotion. No offers in hand and quiet due to WLB.

Question for people in forensic field - Is there a reason why many forensic roles prefer people who can speak multiple languages? I mean I understand that there are international arbitration type of work, but is that all? How would your language skill benefit you in these roles? Appreciate your inputs.
Is there a big gap in pay between forensics at major accounting/consulting firms and smaller local/regional shops?
My office currently works on really big corporate cases: antitrust, bankruptcies, valuations, etc. but I’m interested in the work smaller shops do like divorces, personal injury, wrongful death, etc.
1. Amongst all the big PA firms, who has the strongest forensic service line?
2. CAMS or CFE or CFF?(already a CPA).
Anybody care to provide 30K ft view on this tweet thread?
Anyone else taking the CFE and can give insight to whether the actual test was the same questions from the review/practice questions? Any study tips? FYI they are also changing their proctoring system in July. Thank you!
For someone with CPA and CISA (with experience in both financial and IT audit) who is really interested in fraud/forensics what certification would you recommend? TIA for your advice 😊
Anyone tried the new Sanctions Certificate (CGSS) offered by ACAMS? Trying to see how difficult it is considering I don't have a lot of experience with sanctions compliance. I have CAMS & work in AML
Any ideas on KPMG MD total comp in Risk?
Cram studying for CFE. Is it recommended to study for one test and take one at a time, or study for all and take the 4 on the same day?
Sounds like all of the Big 4 are ramping up pay (audit, tax, and especially accounting advisory and M&A). Anyone know if we’ll see similar increases in forensics? What about at boutiques and consulting firms?
Looking for a comparison between FTI and StoneTurn - type of work, strength of practice, long term growth, overall culture?
I’m new to fraud. Any good books that give a history of fraud, with a focus on the last century?
Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? Just a generic timeline and additional required info. Don’t want to sign up yet if the exam dates are not flexible. Thank you.
I am a CFE, but my primary role is accounting advisory. Are there ways that I can still continue to expand my practical knowledge about the forensic accounting profession (getting involved with the ACFE and other orgs, volunteering, etc.) without switching over to a forensic accounting role entirely?
Anyone who gave the CFE exam recently care to share some tips & tricks on the prep ? I am contemplating to give it in next 2-3m.
Does anyone have an experience to share of switching from forensics to TAS? I am looking into a career move and want to be able to nail down my transferable skills to point out in interviews. Anything would be helpful.
Looking for a fraud investigations lead or manager role that’s remote. 10 YOE and CFE. Any leads?
Ankura is buying Navigant's Disputes and Investigations practice. Thoughts on this acquisition, particularly from either of those firms?
