Entering 2-4 years of long distance. Been together for a year. I know she is the one for me, any tips on making it as painless as possible?
In mindtree there is 12% of CTC is variable pay. Will they pay 12% on monthly basis or what are the scenarios we may not get variable pay.
Thanks in advance.
Lateraled several months ago and not having much success getting hours. Tried reaching out to various associates and partners and usually get that they’ll keep me in mind. Practice area is slow and holidays are here, but definitely frustrating bc I’m ready to work. Do I just keep pushing?
I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?
(I've heard that other SDRs were earning around 40k EUR 70% base salary and 18k EUR 30% variable earnings, in Ireland)
The Variable... an agency with 0 POC, keeps pushing out work about racial bias. Wuuuuuttt?
Are McKinsey cases on the website representative of the cases in all rounds of the interview process?
6 months into my search and I just want out already. It’s so hard to get a job now it’s insane.
Any PE/VC fish here that can help me calculate the NPV of the equity portion of my offer? $100,000 worth of options vesting over 4 yrs, 1 yr cliff. Company was valued at $925m at last funding round C, share price is $45, and strike price is $12. Trying to estimate what my equity would be worth at the yr mark. Hypothetically, let’s say the company gets an additional $200m in funding next round. How would that change the value of my shares?
Just submitted R2 apps and would love feedback on my stats. 164q/164v gre, 3.3gpa from t50, work exp is 1.5 yr consulting and a 1.5yr vc backed startup I had a few years ago. Worried I aimed too high
Please don’t send me a Happy Birthday message on LinkedIn, unless it comes with an amazing job offer.
I need a little bit of guidance! I have a feeling like I'm being underpaid but I'm not sure what I can get away with asking for before it comes across as rude and entitled! I'm an instructor/student coordinator/ program developer for a business development and marketing training academy, I also run marketing for the digital marketing for their branding agency as well. I have a bachelor's degree and 2 full years of experience. What am I worth?
Does nagarro provide any separate leaves for marriage or I can only take what’s their in my leave balance ( Casual and Earned leaves) ?
Hi everyone!! I am looking for an administrative or clerical position in the nyc hospitals. Does anyone have any leads?
I'll make it simple. I've been doing daily streams of myself going through LeetCode questions starting from the easiest all the way to the hardest. My goal is to do ALL of them. Yep, ALL of them.
If that interests you and you want to join me in this journey, I am about to start my stream over at www.youtube.com/c/leetcodelive.
Watch me make mistakes, hear me struggle and develop and optimized algorithm.

If partners move from one firm to another, what exactly the new firm they join gains from them? I don’t think partners will be able to take clients and business with them while moving between the firms. Correct me if I am wrong.
First year dealing with K1s - How do you all deal with these when filing taxes (in a normal year when tax day is 4/15) given you get them after tax day? Do you finalize your taxes by 4/15, pay what you owe at that time (if necessary), and file for an extension to complete later in the fall when you have them all?
Looking for advice. In partner pipeline at B4, have been a bit strung along in terms of exactly when and have been told this year is not my year either. I’d like to leave, but I’m in the process of...

Partners, what is your experience dealing with HR? I’ve recently felt like partners are increasingly becoming powerless from a talent perspective(advocating for raises and promotions etc) as the firms are all growing… essentially more bureaucracy and more powerful HR departments - and honestly it feels like the HR talent is mediocre at best compared to the high performing talent that these firms staff in their projects… hope to be proved wrong or just not have the right perspective
I have a good relationship with my Practice Leader, and they’ve put me up for Partner this year (🤞). But I have a competing, higher-comp, offer for direct admit Partner at another, larger firm. Tbh, I’m thinking about it. Should I discuss with my Practice Leader?
I’m probably not going to use it for leverage, as I think that’d sour things, but want to make it known - if there any doubts - that I have options elsewhere. Should I leak it to a different Partner that I am considering this offer?

Is McKinsey’s partnership structure & requirement different to other big 4? If people at 29 become partners, aren’t there too many partners by now? How’s it sustainable ?
Big4 and Mid tier- All partners have a vesting period and if you leave before that 10 year mark , you dont get those retirement benefits correct? I noted some firms actively push out partners nearing that 10 year period. I have seen it happen. Is that a normal practice to shake out some dead weight so to speak before they reach that 10 year mark? Seems cut throat but is that part of the business now?
