How are Amazon interviews like? Heard they are really stressful - most interviews I had were like natural conversations, so a bit worried.
Also recruiter quoted 130 TC for non-tech program manager role, this sounds kind of low since I’m at 110k currently. Should I just withdraw application and apply when I have enough exp for a senior program manager role?

Most people at bcg recruit 13-14 months in. Only those who knew from college PE was their goal recruited in year 1
Waited for on cycle my second year to recruit. I started the on cycle process in my first year (3 months into the job) but stopped after the initial HH stage. When I told HH’s I wanted to wait a year they were very supportive and said they actually recommend a lot of consultants to wait til second year and do on cycle or off cycle/immediate start then.
Wait another year. I had 1.5 years for 3 year program at Bain. Honestly PE recruiting is so out of wack now that there might be a full reset. A lot of firms hold 1-2 spots for following year hire (i.e, less than 12 month to start) which honestly I would’ve preferred.
