Realize that the audience wants you to succeed. No one ever said “Wow, I hope this meeting I’m about to spend an hour in really sucks!”
Biggest thing for me was getting a better feel on what the audience is actually interested in hearing and anticipating (and preparing for) their questions.
This is typically the biggest misalignment for junior people— hyperfocusing on delivering material without taking a step back to understand the objectives of the meeting, the audience, and what is going to move the needle. Slowing down and knowing when to shut up are skills that sound easy to learn but are hard to master.

Imagine everyone in the room is naked before you present.
It just takes a couple of tries...you will fall flat on your face once or twice and then you will realize that the next time you do it you were a little better...a couple of more times and you are golden!
Be prepared to tell your audience a story, as if you were telling it to your grandmother. Take them on a journey from Point A to Point B, and if you plan where they might want to take a rest stop then have examples ready where you anticipate they will have questions.
Select a person in the audience and look them in the eye when you’re delivering a punchline. Even though you aren’t looking everyone in the eye, the rest of the audience will feel as if you had
I tell myself - I won’t be there telling this to them if they already knew it . That gets me over my nerves to start . It’s not always true that they don’t know - just that it helps me get into a flow
