Get them bottle feeding before and the rest will fall into place. I sent both of mine to daycare at 4 months and honestly it’s a good time. Separation anxiety hasn’t really kicked in at that age so they will be fine. It’s harder on the parents.
With both of mine I put them in for a couple half days the week before I went back to work to let us both acclimate. Helped me get into a better headspace but also gave me some much needed me time (massage! Manicure!) which is hard to come by on may leave.
This is all great advice. ❤️ also keep in mind she may catch a cold shortly after joining. New exposure to other babies/kids despite social distancing.
My baby girl went in at 4 months old, got a cold and after that, very rarely got sick and still doesn’t. She’s 11 now. It will be ok
I focused on getting my baby to nap in noisy/sunlit rooms and laying her down drowsy but not asleep. Then we eased into daycare over a few days, starting with a couple of hours each day.

I would start with a half day for sure but you don’t really need to do anything. You will cry the first day so plan for some time to yourself post drop off before your first meetings. You’ve got this mama!
The only think I did to prepare was get my babies used to a bottle. Other than that there wasn’t really much to do in my opinion. Good luck!
Following. In similar boat and terrified about baby going to daycare.
