It sounds hokey to say it, but it’s the old adage, people wont remember what you said but they will remember how you made them feel. My leaders in industry never ignored me the way that partner has.
In consulting you deliver skills and sell people. If you don’t want to sell people (SM / PPMD) and you’ve learned the skills you need, it’s time to get out.
