Hi all. If you have ever encountered passive aggressive teammates, did you raise this situation to your direct report? If so, what was your approach and how did you deliver the feedback? This particular teammate is beginning to create a toxic work environment for me and I would like to diffuse this situation amicably, as performance reviews are near.
Hi all..any feedback on how logicmonitor is as a company..in terms of work culture, wlb and raise?
Ladies - going to negotiate a payrise next week. Received an unsatisfactory (<$2k) bump with promotion. Getting offers $60k above current pay from industry. Am nervous... Any tips / anecdotes? TIA 🙏
Anybody with 3 YOE+ switch from Core tax to their international group? How was the transition? Did you have to step down a level if you were a recent senior/manager? Did you have to switch firms? Reason I ask is that I wouldn't mind delaying my promotion to manager to get international experience. Want to experience international before jumping from PA.
M here. Where can I find slim tees with a slightly longer length? Not to the extent of longline tees where it’ll go past my ass but long enough that I don’t have to worry about it turning into a crop top when I raise my arms
Are any of you CDs that were promoted to GCDs at small to mid-size agencies where the creative department is not technically divided into groups? If so, what added responsibilities were assigned to you with the promotion? I don’t work at a large agency with the traditional pyramid structure of a GCD having multiple CDs on specific accounts reporting to him/her. I work on 14 accounts.
Finished paying off my student loans!! Its like I got an 18% raise. Its a shame Im not exactly sure what to do with this extra money. I dont want to fall into the trap of earn more=spend more. Max 401K? house?
What is the average promotion cycle in KPMG audit in the US for experienced M (recruited from outside to the US) to SM?
Is it hard for anyone else to ask for a raise?
How can I set the stage this year to negotiate a lower billable hours expectation instead of a raise? As a woman I'm hesitant to be open about my reason: I want more time at home with my kids. I lateraled to this firm a year ago for WLB and they are indeed flexible on WFH which helps. Salary is a bit below average for mid-size firms like mine in my area, and I didn't get a raise or bonus this year because I didn't hit the billable target (1900). Ideally I'd keep my salary but go to 1600 hours.
A1-A2 tax, 6% raise and 3% VC. Thoughts?

Currently a senior 3 at EY and hope to get promoted to manager next year by October. Is it better to move over to BCG after promotion as a project leader? Or would that not be a lateral move as a EY manager?
Does anyone working in M&A Post Merger Integration, OCM, or Transaction Support have any thoughts on PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification? Worth pursuing?
This time of year always reminds me of the year my boss gave each member of the team an ax (like for chopping wood) as a holiday gift with a note to “Stay Sharp” and I (the only female on the team) got pruning shears instead. What’s the best or worst holiday gift you’ve received at work?

Had a final round interview. Recruiter said the response was positive but they need to wait 30-60 days before making an offer due to COVID. It’s been a little over 30 and they’re still waiting. Do i still have a chance of getting an offer?
Had a project interview yesterday and it was pretty mediocre. One of the managers really liked me, the other seemed a little skeptic and wanted work samples. I’ve been pretty anxious since and cont

United lost my son's car seat on a 3 hr flight. It was registered as a checked luggage with the proper csrseat tag and everything. After following up with an agent after we landed, they said it stayed in EWR and they are working to get it shipped to me in the next day or so while I'm on vacation. Anyway to get points for the inconvenience, I'm Premier platinum if it matters. They did give me a free loaner carseat until mine arrives but it's kinda crappy tbh.
Have interview scheduled with Deloitte for Senior consultant role. Any tips/suggestions on what to expect/prepare for Consuting and Case interviews?
I have two opportunities I’m considering. One that’s a director position with a large holding company doing what I do now. The second is a well known vendor DSP. Both similar in building teams and bringing partners up. Both pay is similar. But going vendor side (not sales) would that hinder my path on the media/agency side if I were to take it? Director at large ad Agency or Director at Vendor DSP.
