Should I look around 20L or is it fine for my YOE(4 years 9 months)?

Looking to get out of public accounting and applied for a Staff Accountant position. The company is known for having a great culture and I’m thinking the schedule will be much better. I’m thinking the compensation will be similar in the new position as what I’m making now so I wouldn’t be getting the normal jump in pay people expect when leaving public accounting. If I were to be offered the position, should I take it? Should I expect a better position if I’m looking for an accounting type role?

I just applied for the CPA in Massachusetts virtually through the Commonwealths website. I wasn't prompted to pay the initial license fee. Do I just mail the license fee check to the MA board now or
