I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Depends on your goal, scandidature, skillset, rigor, and current manager (for internal transfer) in my opinion.
If you're able to present yourself as a competitive and deserving candidate, ans properly justify the need and requirement for pivoting to the the new company and role, there's no one stopping you from doing that.
However, if it's an internal transfer, it sure does depend on your current team and it's manager, new team and it's manager, and their understanding.
