How do account directors differ from sales executives?

Account director is usually more senior, handles 1 very large account

In my experience it’s just a different title for the same job. Managing or closing sales on an established account/customer. These positions differ from an SDR or BD whose job is to hunt for new business or a lead.

Could be a KAD. Depends on company

In my experience, account directors handle named accounts/existing customers (responsible for continuously expanding or up selling into said accounts.) Sales or account executives usually have territories or verticals and are responsible for closing new business and bringing in new logos to the company.

Ok so, is it just me...or are the big 4 just hogwarts houses? Kpmg is clearly all hufflepuffs. PwC probably gryffindor but also ravenclaws. Deloitte for sure slytherin Ey...ravenclaw

Responded to medical rfe. It was from SC, not a local FO. Does it mean they won’t probably ask me to do an interview locally?

2.5 years at Tier 2 or 3 consulting firm 🤷‍♂️ and looking to transfer to MBB (preferably). I know 3 people at M, is it weird to just hit them up and ask for a referral?

PWCs new expense system is awful.

My current company is working on onboarding me to a new client. I accepted a verbal offer from another firm this week and haven’t signed anything. I would prefer to wait to give notice until all formalities are completed and background check clears. How do I delay client onboarding? Or do I just go along and burn the bridge in a couple weeks?

Help! I may have screwed myself over. I got an offer for $80,000 from a company for a role that was very hard/impossible to find salary data for online (I currently make $78,000) and I negotiated and asked for $94,000 (knowing that was a little high and I wouldn’t get that). The recruiter came back to me and asked if I could provide her data to support this ask. It’s literally based on my current salary and expected promotion/bonus (I know neither of those are certain). I just don’t know how to

Anyone know how to get the underlying dataset for the Bing Coronavirus tracker? Or a similar data set?

Took some PTO on a Monday so I wouldn't have to deal with the fact that it's Monday and everyone wanting something at 8am.

Young 25 year old bilingual French in Security Sales as an SDR. Making 200% of my number on average. Company doesn’t have a clear path as a next step and I’ve been in the role for a year. I am hungry and continue to study and learn. Company has good culture, But 80k OTE sounds light for my investment. Currently speaking with upper-level management to create a path. Any advice?

Going up for senior consultant this year in Deloitte’s cyber risk practice within GPS. What salary range can I expect from this promotion? Currently, I’ve been with the firm for nearly two years...

Slalom peeps, a friend of mine who's not on FB is looking at two technology delivery owner roles in the DC office. One calls for 5+ YOE, the other calls for 10+ YOE. Any ideas on the approximate comp and level for those positions?

It is confusing to call mbb as b3 when there is b4. How about Real3/R3? Real consulting...
