How do any of you write an effective resume, when we have to keep mum on project details / results?

My resume bullet points are just this: "Improved bottom line by 25-5000% for F10000 client in the United States"

funny

You can skip United state .. if you are in US.

You don’t list the client name, but their industry. You don’t list project details, but highlight your accomplishments.

You can discuss achievements, industry, and impact without issue. Just don’t name drop your clients. F10, F500, etc. works fine

I mean, you definitely want to talk about project details and especially the results (“grew revenue in North American market by 35% by optimizing search engine advertising” - I don’t work in marketing so this is a BS sentence but you get the idea hopefully). The main thing you don’t do is list the client name. But the rest is fair game

Did X for a major banking client to achieve Y. Replace the variables, create a story and BAM!

A colleague shared with me the presentation they have prepared for their promotion case. I worked with them on multiple projects during the year and I can clearly see that some of the claims on the deck are wild exaggeration or lies. For example, managed changes in scope for Project X including contract changes. Plot twist: there never was a change of scope for Project X and the contract is exactly the same. How can people be so dishonest? How far can you go before truth catching up?

I've recently been struggling to figure out what job is next and what I want to do with my career. I have 4.5 yoe, 3.5 years at PwC within tax/tax technology and 1 year within IT transformation, Agile/Change and Implementation work. I don't have many hard skills except for things like excel, PowerPoint, alteryx/tableau/powerbi, and struggling to find something that I want to do. I feel kind of stuck on current project and feel like I'm underpaid. Any advice or guidance on how to figure it out?

This “always on” slack/teams culture needs to end. Timestamped emails after and before work hours should be penalised as signs of poor time management skills and project management efficiencies. I hope we do like germans and labor laws are made for after work hour messaging.
